In the main Micro-Cap folder, there are two files called FILTER.BIN and WFB.BIN. What are these files for?

The FILTER.BIN file stores all of the information needed for the Active and Passive Filter designers which can be found under the Design menu in Micro-Cap. This file contains all of the circuit configurations that can be used within these designers. If this file is not present, the designers will not work.

The WFB.BIN file stores all of the waveform information that the user has stored within the Waveform Buffer. If this file is not present, Micro-Cap will recreate it the next time the program runs.
