Transient Analysis

In my transient simulations, I often have to change the time range. Every time I do this, I have to manually set the X-Range fields to Auto since I can't use the Auto Scale Ranges feature or I will lose my Y-Range settings. Is there a way I can get past this?

In the Transient Analysis Limits, right click in one of the X-Range fields. This brings up a list of possible variables. One of the options is "TMAX,TMIN" which will import the maximum and minimum values from the Time Range field each time a simulation is started. These variables let you change the time range to any value and the range will automatically adjust.

An alternative is to use the keyword "AutoAlways" in the X-Range fields. This will always autoscale the specified range. You can easily place either of these options by right clicking in an X-Range field. The "AutoAlways" keyword is also available for Y-Range fields.
