AC Analysis

I am trying to increase the number of data points that my AC analysis simulation is taking. I increase the Number of Points field, but this has no effect on my analysis. Why?

In the AC analysis limits, the Frequency Step is on Auto. The Number of Points has no effect when Auto is chosen. Only the Maximum Change % will effect the number of data points taken. To have the data points controlled by the Number of Points field, change the Frequency Step to Fixed Linear or Fixed Log. Fixed Linear is better for smaller scale ranges, and Fixed Log is better when the frequency range encompasses multiple decades.
