Introduction - Remote Control

This chapter provides:

• Instructions how to put the CMU into operation via remote control,
• a general introduction to remote control of programmable instruments. This includes the description of the command structure and syntax according to the SCPI standard, the description of command execution and of the status registers,
• • A comprehensive description of the CMU's remote control concept.

In section Introduction- Notation, concepts and terms relating to remote control of CMU in particular are discussed. In the same part, all remote control functions of the basic unit and of function group RF Analyzer are described in detail. All commands are listed in the alphabetic index of this help system.
