COM 1 | The COM 1 section defines the transmission parameters for
the serial interface COM 1.
If required, the transmission parameters must be set such as to comply with the parameters of the addressed device (PC etc.). The interface characteristics are explained in detail in Hardware Interfaces. The individual parameters are presented in the table below. The Application field indicates whether the serial port is used as a printer connector (Printer, if COM 1 was selected as printer port in the Print tab; see Printer Settings - Setup-Print) or for data transfer to the controller (Transfer, default setting). This parameter can not be changed in the Comm. tab. |
